Norma Bickford

December 17, 1931 — May 23, 2018

Norma Bickford, 86, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 23, 2018.

Norma was born in Syracuse, New York on December 17, 1931 to the late Arthur and Toddy Scofield.

Norma retired from East Syracuse Minoa School District. She was a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Tracy Bickford.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Sal) Briones, Donna Johnson, Donald Johnson, Debra (George) Corkran, David (Pat) Johnson, Douglas (Patti) Johnson and Laurie (Scott) Fields; Two Sisters, Carolyn Stonecipher and Barbara Cavanaugh; Brother, Arthur Scofield; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; as well as her furry companions, Teddy, Jimmy and Gizmo.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial to take place in Pine Plains, Kirkville.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of CNY or the Bridgeport Fire Department.
