Nelson Rivera Lopez, 41, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Nelson was born in Puerto Rico on December 29, 1979 son of Nelson Rivera Maldonando and Maria Lopez Rodriguez. Nelson loved to listen and play all types of music. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He is survived by his mother, Maria, father, Nelson, 2 sisters, Margarita Rivera Lopez (Angel Rivera), Yadira Rivera (Cory Brocious) Lopez, niece, Valeria Pizarro Rivera, nephew, Sebastian Brocious Rivera, along with many aunts & uncles of the Lopez Rodriguez/Acevedo and the Rivera Maldonado families.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
