Neil O. Bender, 78, of North Syracuse, passed away January 5, 2018.
Neil was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 19, 1939 to the late Oscar and Adele Bender.
Neil retired from Carrier Corporation after many years. He enjoyed golfing and volunteering at Meals on Wheels.
He was preceded in death by Brother, Bill Bender.
He is survived by his Wife of 53 years, Phyllis Bender, Four Daughters, Deborah (John) Doherty, Alicia Bender & Jim, Beth Bender & Lee, Jennifer Gleason and 8 grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Area Meals on Wheels.
