Nathan R. Clifford, 84, of North Syracuse, passed away March 24, 2024.
Nathan was born in Woodsville, New Hampshire on April 22, 1939 to the late Leonard and Gladys E. Clifford.
He was a member of the Army National Guard serving in the 2nd Howitzer Batallion and 197th Artillery as well as a member of the Masonic Temple for over 60 years. He was a master carpenter in the family business of Clifford Builders. He also worked for Grossmans for over 30 years and later retired from Home Depot in 2012 after 16 years. He loved God, his country, family and friends dearly.
He is survived by his loving Wife of over 63 years, Linda Clifford; Two Daughters, Jacqueline (Gary) Weisbrod and Donna Hoff; Son, John (Rita Barbato) Clifford; Granddaughter, Jennifer (Eric) Hilleren and Great Granddaughter, Cora Beth Hilleren; Granddaughter, Heather (Ken Woodworth) Morrison and Great Granddaughters, Victoria (Dany) Gonzalez and Vanessa Morrison; Sisters-in-law, Mabel Clifford and Rachel Clough; Brother-in-law, Roger Clough; As well as several nieces and nephews. And his two grand dogs, Jackson and Nikko.
He was predeceased by his Four Brothers, Sumner, James, Robert E. Sr. and Sanford Clifford; Sister, Marlene Clough; grand dog, Star and several other family members.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 2nd at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse from 4-6 PM with a Masonic Service to follow at 6PM. Burial will be private in North Syracuse Cemetery.
