Natalie C. Bitz, of Cicero, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday. She was born June 1, 1928 in Oswego. She received her RN Degree from St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, NY. She later earned her Nurse Clinician License and was one of the first women in New York State to become a Physician Assistant. Natalie worked many years for Dr. Carl Marlow. She retired in 1993 from the Central Square Health Center after 18 years.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Don) Woods, John (Maureen) Bitz, Robin (Rick) Waite and Scott (Carol) Bitz; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many many wonderful friends.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Home Aides of CNY or Hospice of CNY.
