Narcissa Ann Leubner

December 18, 1933 — January 20, 2017

Narcissa Ann Leubner, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2017 in St. Petersburg, FL, after a lengthy illness.

She was the wife of William Edmund Leubner, her husband of 64 years.

Ann was born in Syracuse, NY on December 18, 1933.

She was the daughter of Dorothy (Mohr) and Donald Bainbridge.

She graduated from Marcellus High School and worked at a nursing home in Syracuse before getting married and moving to Skaneateles, NY in 1952.

Ann was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Auburn, NY for over 60 years. She had a green thumb and was a wonderful gardener. She could grow just about anything, and her flowerbeds in the summer were spectacular. She was a very talented knitter--every baby born to her friends and family received a beautiful handmade sweater set. Being a farmer's wife, Ann spent most of her life working with and caring for animals on the family farm; she loved them and enjoyed keeping a variety of pets over the years in addition to the farm animals. Ann will be remembered by her children as a loving mother who took them on long nature walks and taught them the common and scientific names of all manner of plants and animals. She never refused a request for help from anyone and would give you the last dollar she had in her pocket. In the summer one would often find Ann, Ed, and her children at Otisco Lake enjoying a swim after a hard day's work, followed by a cookout at her parent's camp there. Ann was also a wonderful grandmother, and joyfully babysat her many grandchildren over the years.

Ann is survived by her husband Edmund, her brother, Robert Bainbridge (Phyllis), her children Jeffrey Leubner (Sue), Pamela Kleemann (Buzz), Christopher Leubner, Kathleen Mattos, Jason Leubner, Cynthia Pascal, grandchildren Kourtney Shaw, Jesse Lee Leubner, Tiera Rooker, Craig Kleemann, Tiffany Star Leubner, Lindsie Flick, Joshua Mattos, Christopher Robin Leubner, Laurie Jane Leubner, Thompson Ann Bourque, Mattie James Bourque, Sydney Rain Bourque, Kohlton Pascal, Sarah Pascal, William Pascal, and Sophia Pascal, and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Dorthy and Donald, and her sisters, Janet and Betty.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a yet to be determined date.
