Nancy J. Wicks

Nancy J. Wicks, 80, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully April 26, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Nancy was born in Syracuse, New York on May 30, 1943 to Donald J. and Honorine V. Paro. She was an avid birdwatcher. She had a green thumb and enjoyed the beauty of flowers. In her free time, she enjoyed watching Syracuse basketball and listening to music. Nancy had a sense of humor that made those around her laugh. At the age of 80, she was still dancing and able to enjoy life through her courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William J. Wicks; father, Donald J. Paro; mother, Honorine V. Paro; three brothers, Donald, Ralph and Mark Paro.

She is survived by her four children, Bonnie L. (Daniel) Narsasian, Tracey L. Lindner, William H. (Christine) Wicks, Nancy J. Perry; grandchildren, Joseph Judware, Mitchell Judware, Adam Judware, Jessica Rein and Cody Mann; four great grandchildren, Michael Judware, Dylan Colabufo, Carolynn Gardner, and Blake Gardner; brother, Richard Paro; and several extended family members.

Calling hours will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a funeral service will follow at 7PM.
