Nancy J. Karpinski

Nancy Jane "Taylor" Karpinski, 80 of Oswego, NY, passed away on October 09, 2021 after a long illness. She was born on April 24, 1941 to Walter and Ruth (Davenport) Taylor. She enjoyed crafting, was known for her donuts and pierogi's, and was greatly involved in the Boy Scout's of America. Nancy lost count of how many children she took care of and loved between being a foster parent and a daycare owner.

She is predeceased by her husband, Richard H. Karpinski Jr., who passed in 1994.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Karpinski Brown, Kellie Karpinski Saunders, Richard (Jennifer Bagnett) Karpinski III, Kristina (Brad Jr.) Karpinski Lyboult; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers; and too many nieces and nephews to count.

Calling hours will be held from 3-5PM on October 16, 2021 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, North Syracuse. There will be a gathering following the service at Kellie Saunders home, please contact the family for the address. Please bring a dish to pass. Her ashes will be laid to rest with her husband at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Syracuse where a private burial will be held at a later date.
