Nancy J. Hayes, 82, of Liverpool, passed away May 17, 2021.
Nancy was born in Syracuse, New York on November 8, 1938 to the late Isaac Chapman and Ethel Dewey.
Nancy retired from P&C Warehouse after many years as a Keypunch Operator. After retirement, Nancy and David Sr. lived the last 26 years in Cape Vincent on Lake Ontario where she enjoyed feeding any wild critter that came into her yard. She was a lover of all animals, especially her cat, Tigger. She enjoyed playing trivia, sewing, baking and wine time. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her Sister, Phyllis House and Brother, Richard Chapman.
She is survived by her Husband of 60 years, David M. Hayes; Daughters, Kristen (Jim) Ferguson and Diana (Jeff) Collins; Son, David (May) Hayes, Jr.; Grandchildren, Kassidy (Nicholas) Burgess, Carson Ferguson, Emily Hayes and Taylor Hayes.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at 11 AM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
