Nancy L. Esterley, 81, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 1, 2024. Nancy was born in Auburn, NY on February 21, 1942 to Sherman and Julia Harding.
Nancy retired from being a cosmetologist at the Nottingham, where she was proud to serve the residents and friends. In her free time, she enjoyed bird watching, gardening, painting and playing pitch. She was a softball fan and was very supportive of her local team. Nancy was a very generous person and gave much of her time to Meals on Wheels. She had a great sense of humor, spread joy through laughter, and always said you should find the humor in life. Nancy was a wonderful and fun mother who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
She was preceded in death by Partner, Edward Macholl; Daughter, Julie Esterley; Father, Sherman Harding; Mother, Julia (Chenko) Harding.
She is survived by her Son, William Esterley; long time Partner, Judy Colone; Three Grandchildren, LeeAnne (Cory Gaworecki) Purcell, Joshua Esterley, Jennifer (Stephen) Mullane; Three Great-Grandchildren, Roenin Chevalier, Avery Chevalier, Logan Gaworecki; Brother, Donald (the late Joan) Harding; Sister, Carol (Ronald) Graff; and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse where funeral services will be held at 5:00pm.
