Nancy Edmonds

Nancy Ann Edmonds, 85, of Onondaga Hill, passed away on September 15, 2024

Nancy was born in Syracuse, NY, on September 28, 1938, to Robert and Virginia Knox.

Nancy attended Syracuse Central High School and retired from The New York Telephone Company.

She was a loving and caring Mother and Grandmother. Her selfless and generous acts are immeasurable. She always put the needs of others before her own. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She also enjoyed reading, shopping, going out to dinner, and a good martini. Nancy also liked to reminisce about her travels, which included a Western Mediterranean cruise, trips to New York City, and Broadway shows. She never missed an opportunity to go to the NYS Fair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Edmonds, mother, Virginia Knox, and father, Robert Knox. 

She is survived by her children, David M. (Christine) Edmonds, Kelly A. Kelly, and Kristen A. Gunsalus; her grandchildren, Caleb, Aidan, Quinn and Keegan Kelly, Karah Edmonds, Gideon and Matilda Gunsalus.

Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

As per Nancy’s wishes, no services will take place.
