Nancy J. Coulter, 87, noted local poet, gardener, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Liverpool, NY on May 22nd 2017.
A native of Syracuse, the former Nancy Jane Simmons is survived by her brother, Baxter Simmons of Elbridge; six children, Edward S. Flaherty of Syracuse, Mark J. Flaherty of Dewitt, Christine R. More of Liverpool, Kevin P. Flaherty of Virginia, Carolyn St. Clair of California and Theodore R. Flaherty of Maryland.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Edward M. Flaherty and her 2nd husband, James M. Coulter.
Family and friends will gather for remembrances on June 14th, 2017 at 11 AM at the Butterfly Garden of Hope on Onondaga Lake Parkway in Liverpool, NY and at noon at the Camillus Elks Club on Newport Road, Camillus, NY.
