Nancy L. Cashin, age 78 of Clay, NY passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Upstate University Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, James M. Cashin; sister, Barbara M. Manley; and parents, John K. and Mary Jane (Baker) Manley.
Nancy is survived by her children, Mark (Colleen) Cashin, Mary (Nicolas) Nemr, Michelle (Michael) Napier, and Lisa (Ronald) Overton; grandchildren, Khalil Turner, Ashley (Matthew) Fitzsimmons, Isiah Turner, Ian Nemr, Marrielle Nemr, Jonah Overton, Alec Nemr, Aliyah Overton, Kimorah Overton, and Anyiah Overton; great-grandchildren, James and Savannah Fitzsimmons; sisters, Kathleen Richardson, and Virginia Justian; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Central Tech High School where she was Vice President of Junior Catholic Interracial Council. Nancy went on to Bryan & Stratton where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. Nancy retired after many years of service at SUNY Upstate University Hospital. Nancy loved researching family ancestry, reading mysteries and playing Sudoku. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and mother-in-law who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 10 am to 11 am with a mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary's of the lake, Skaneateles, NY.
