Nadine E. Spelman

Nadine E. Spelman, 63, of East Syracuse, passed away on June 30, 2022 in the arms of her loving family. Nadine was a 1976 graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School where she met her "Spooze," Mark Spelman. They were married in 1976 and would have celebrated their 46th anniversary this year. Their souls were so deeply connected that she left this earth shortly after she lost him, her one true love, on June 2, 2022. She loved animals, zoo trips, and her many years bowling and playing softball with her husband and friends. Nadine worked alongside Mark for many years in the Parts Industry and together they owned their business, Dealer Parts. Nadine was most importantly known as "Mema" to her grandbabies. Being a Grandma was the center of her heart and her everything.

Nadine was predeceased by her soulmate, Mark Spelman, and her parents Brub and Shirley Krukowski.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Chris) Hudson; son, Christopher Spelman; her precious grandchildren, Nadia, Isaiah, and Talia Hudson, Robert White, and Abbigayle Davis; aunts, Lynn (Chuck) Kolb, Barbara Cavanaugh; sister in law, Susan (Glen) Middagh; nieces and nephews, Marianne, Scott, Corey, Jill, Lindsey, Robin, Kaitlyn and their children; dear friends and many cousins, including her special "Sister" cousin Tammy LaForce, and "Nephew" cousin, Shaun LaForce. Nadine also leaves behind her cherished Great Danes, Kenya, Koa, and Kaia.

Nadine's big heart and strong beliefs with live on in all that knew and loved her. She was known as a second Mom to so many and all throughout her life she welcomed in anyone in need. Remember Nadine best by snuggling your pet, enjoying a hot cup of coffee with tons of cream, and cherishing your loved ones with all you have.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 7th, from 4-6PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals with a service to follow. Burial will be made the following morning at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt at 10AM. In lieu of flowers and to help in honoring Nadine's memory, donations may be made to the family.
