Muriel S. Conroy, 82, of Baldwinsville, New York went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2011.
She was born March 13, 1929 in Green Bay, WI, a daughter of Roy and Muriel Rae Seton. On April 19, 1952 she married James Conroy. Muriel loved God and served Him by serving others at the "Bread of Life", an outreach ministry of St. Lucy's Church. This gave her great joy. She considered each of her grandchildren a gift and treated each of them as such.
Surviving are her husband, James, son John (Tamara) Conroy, two daughters, Christine Conroy Ruffino, Martha (Daniel) Baker, brother David Coon, sister Beverly Hennesey, seven grandchildren, Joshua Baker, Alexander Baker, Ted Conroy, Lucas Baker, Karen Conroy, Joseph Ruffino and Seth Baker.
Services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011, 11am at St. Lucy's Church, Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2011 from 2-5pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York.
Contributions may be made to the "Bread of Life" at St. Lucy's Church.
