Muriel Gloria Palmer/McLatchie, 78 of Liverpool passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse she worked as a secretary for the Syracuse City School District and later retired from Crouse Hinds. Muriel was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Liverpool.
She is survived by her daughter; Mary Palmer of Liverpool, one sister; Mary McLatchie of North Syracuse, one brother; Bruce McLatchie of Solvay, one grand daughter; Faye, one great grand son; Justin, and one great grand daughter; Alyssa. Services will be Monday at 11 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse. Contributions in Muriel's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY.
