Merlin E. Clark, 73, of Syracuse passed away Saturday. Born in Ladysmith, WI, he was a Avionics Specialist with the Air Force for 26 years. He received numerous decorations, medals and citations including the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Martha Maria (Hardt) Clark, a daughter; Pamela (David) Senatore, two grandchildren; Lauren-Marie and Nicholas, a special niece; Bettina Hardt (Michael) McElwee and their son, Alexander; 3 brothers, Vern, Willard, Warren; 2 sisters, Lenora and Vivian; and several nieces and nephews.
Services with full military honors, will be held on Wednesday at 6:30PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, from 5-6:30PM, before Military Services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to James Square Health & Rehab. Center.
