Morgan J. Ford, 84, of Kirkville, NY entered peacefully into eternal rest with family at his side on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. He was born in Albany, NY. He was a Koran War veteran serving in the Army. He worked at the MONY building and Syracuse University. Morgan retired from Syracuse University in 1994 with over 35 years of service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, enjoying time with his family. He enjoyed assembling model cars and watching "Country Westerns".
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte; six children, Susan (Willie) Threat, Morgan (Cheryl) Ford, John (Jenny) Ford, Steven (Ellen) Ford, Lisa (Bruce) Corsaro and Ann (Daniel) Grace; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-3:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 3:30PM.
He will be missed.
