Misao Izumi Gjertson

Misao Izumi Gjertson, 81, of Liverpool, passed away January 13, 2018. Misao was born in Hokkaido, Japan. In her free time she taught ballroom dancing with her husband and love of her life Jim. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her husband and family. She was preceded in death by husband, Jim Gjertson. She is survived by her three daughters, Cathryn Macdonald, Jennifer (Larry) O'Laughlin, Patricia (Steve) Villeneuve; grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachel, Hope, Joshua, Jordan, and Tyler; great- grandchildren, Arckaya, Striker, Alma, Emma, Elijah, and Olive. Family and friends may call on Saturday, from 11am- 1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212, where funeral services will be held at 1pm. Interment will be made in the spring at Pine Plains Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
