Minnie Estelle Marsala, 91, of Syracuse, NY passed away on March 27, 2021 peacefully in her sleep at St Joseph's Hospital.
Minnie was born in Syracuse, New York on July 21, 1929. She graduated from North High.
Minnie was married to Charles A Marsala on November 18, 1948; they were married for 36 years.
Minnie worked as a Lab Technician/Manager at Syracuse China for more than 20 years. She was active with the Syracuse Marauders Drum and Bugle Corps and was a parade and pageant coordinator for the Lyncourt Twirlettes.
Minnie is survived by her two children, Charles Marsala Jr. and his wife Carolyn (Yvonne) of Cary, NC, and daughter Terry Defrancesco and her husband John of Syracuse; her 7 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren, her nieces and nephews; and the rest of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles A Marsala; daughter, Sheila Ann Resch; her parents, Austin Monterville and Minnie E Hess; and a grandson, John DeFrancesco.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery Thursday, 1:30pm.
