Mildred P. 'Millie' Stallknecht, 84, of N. Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday at James Square Nursing Home. She was born on October 24, 1926 a daughter of Adolph and Anna Link Kaestle. Millie married Carl N. Stallknecht in 1946. He passed away in 1994. Millie was known for her positive attitude and her extreme generosity.

Surviving are four sons, Gary (Roseanne), Greg (Melissa), Guy (Marti), Grant (Mary Beth), 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren She was predeceased by two brothers, Herman and Adolph, two sisters, Hilda and Anali.

Services will be held on Monday 10am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will take place in N. Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
