Mildred S. Cayen, 84, of North Syracuse, formerly of Morganton, NC, passed away Tuesday at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Morganton, NC, she retired from Broughton Hospital in North Carolina as an LPN with 20 years of service. She is predeceased by her husband, Horace L. Cayen and granddaughter, Jennifer Parish.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald and Daniel Cayen; two daughters, Diane Harrington and Judy Parish; a brother Gilbert Smith; seven grandchildren, Eden, Micah, Rachel, Scott, Jeffrey, Randy and Jaslyn; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 7PM. Burial will be private.
