Mildred Grace (Bailey) Hagan passed away on December 11th, at the Nottingham, at age 103.
Millie was born in East Syracuse, on May 20 1916, the youngest daughter of Walter Benton Bailey and Myrtle Grace Masters.
She was predeceased by her half-sisters, Agnes and Myrtle Halversen; brother, Richard and sister, Beulah Roushe.
She was the devoted wife of Howard G. Hagan, until his death in 2008.
Millie enjoyed the outdoors and was a green thumb gardener. She and her husband loved to travel, especially to New York City for the theater, sports, and all of the attractions. Their travels took them to Las Vegas, Washington D.C., Boston, Cape Cod and Toronto. They also took several trips to South Dakota to visit her half-sisters. A highlight for them was a trip to Ireland, where they rented a small cottage a for month in Ballycastle Ireland, becoming regulars at the Sea View Pub.
Her adventurous spirit and independence led her to learn to drive at age 69. She successfully mastered driving a manual stick shift car, and had her license for over twenty years, which led to many great trips with Howard.
