Born Mildred Curtiss in Plainfield, NJ Nov. 5, 1928. Passed away Jan. 13, 2011. Grew up in Brooklyn and Queens, NY; graduated from Queens College. Worked at Sloan-Kettering Hospital, then moved to Syracuse and worked in Vocational Rehabilitation for NY State until her retirement in 1991. She was a singer and a student of life who loved the opera, foreign languages and world travel. Active in May Memorial Church and the Rotary. Preceded in death by her husband, John, survived by her sister Frances Hall of Denver, CO. Services at May Memorial Feb. 6, 2011 at 2pm.
