Miechislaus T. Witaszek, 86, of Syracuse, fell asleep in death on Saturday. He worked as a carpenter for over 50 years and was an Army Veteran serving in WWII. He is predeceased by two grandsons, Richard Hayes (2002) and John Hayes (2007).
He is survived by his children, Linda (Rich) Goss of Red Creek, Michael (Carolyn) Witaszek of No. Syracuse and Henry (Beverly) Witaszek of Northridge, CA; grandchildren, Michael C. (Stephanie) Witaszek of No. Syracuse, Bonnie Direnzo of Cicero, and Connie Hayes of Solvay; great grandchildren, Alexandria Hayes, Richart Hayes, John Hayes IV and Jessica Hayes.
