Mickey L. Centrone, 55, of Syracuse, went to be with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday. Born in Leesville, LA, she spent most of her life in Syracuse as a cosmetologist working as a salon manager with JCPenney and teaching at BOCES. She was always full of life and loved being with family and friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Albert Powers.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jerry Centrone; daughter, Joe'l (Kevin) Centrone Reming; father, Tom Powers; mother, Leona Woods; sister, Penny Schultz; brothers, Tim and John Powers; mother in law, Josephine Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, 11AM at Abundant Life Christian Center. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be today (Monday) from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to Mercy Works at Abundant Life Christian Center.
