Michele M. Kurgan

Michele M. Kurgan, 65, of Syracuse, passed away October 23, 2023. Michele was born in Syracuse, New York on March 28, 1958. She was a resident of Loretto Nursing Home for 27 years and was truly loved by all who knew and cared for her. Michele was a fashionista who always had her hair and nails done, accompanying a fancy outfit, usually the color blue. Although she was born with limitations, she had an innate ability to spread positivity to all who came in contact with her.

Michele was preceded in death by her sister, Patty (Bud) Pulver who cared for her throughout her time in Loretto. They shared a special bond.

She is survived by her guardian/friend, Jackie (Larry) Caruso.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 10-11AM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
