Michael, 60, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday after a short battle with cancer.
He loved golfing with his friends, all of whom constantly tried to beat him but rarely could. His comment to everyone was "Don't try to beat me, just play the course."
Mike also enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, playing card games and trivia. He was always the life of the party with his jokes, laughter, and quick wit.
Mike is survived by his son, Anthony Ard; his everything girl, Sandy Prior; his brother, Johnnie (Patti) Ard; his sisters, Anita Conley (Kevin), Mary (Walt) Hogue and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 31st from 1-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Services will follow immediately after.
