Michael Sawka Jr., born on April 9, 1952, passed away on April 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy marked by his remarkable individuality and vibrant spirit.

A self-employed contractor for many years, Mike was known for his expertise and dedication to his work. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mike had a passion for music, often playing in his band. His love for the craft brought joy not only to himself but also to those who had the pleasure of experiencing his performances.

He was a man of character and authenticity; as friends would often say, “Mike was his own person, you always knew what you were getting with him.” This unwavering honesty endeared him to many. Mike cherished the simple pleasures in life, one of which was spending time at the New York State Fair.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Michael Sr. and Helen Sawka. His memory will forever be held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
