Michael S. Massard, 60, of North Syracuse, passed away on September 21, 2015 at the Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Visitation will be held October 2nd, from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. in North Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held on October 3rd at 2 PM at New Beginnings Christian Center, 7247 State Fair Blvd., Baldwinsville, New York, with Pastor Todd Redden officiating.
He was born on August 28, 1955, in Mims, Florida, son of Dan and Mary Massard. He moved to Syracuse at the age of 2 years old.
Michael became a Master Carpenter (Journeyman) at Carpenter's Local 277. He worked there for 35 years and was adept at his job.
On October 1st, 1989, he married Brenda and they made their home in North Syracuse for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Dan Massard, and Sister, Andrea Massard.
Michael is survived by his loving Wife, Brenda, his Mother, Mary L. Massard, his Two Sons, Donald N. Massard and Michael L. Massard; Four Brothers, Bruce, Edwin, Chris, and Eddie Massard; Two Sisters, Sabrina Junious, and Marieh Massard-Griffin; and 32 nieces and nephews.
