Michael J. Powers Sr.

Michael J. Powers Sr., 67 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 30th, 2023. Born in Syracuse on November 13th, 1955 to the late Frederick and Dorothy Powers.

He worked as a parking attendant at Murbro Parking for several years. Michael loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy; children, Regina (Jason) Gloska, Michael Jr. (Michelle) Powers and Frederick Powers Sr.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Frederick (Beth) Powers, Linda Brown and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 from 5-7pm. Services will be private.
