Michael P. Parker, 61, of Lakeshore Road, Cicero, passed peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday. He had many friends and was loved by all. Born in Watertown, NY he was a Bartender at the South Shore Association and also at the Spinning Wheel. Mr. Parker was predeceased by his parents, Alfred & Dorothy (Jareo) Parker. His memberships include the South Shore Association & the Spinning Wheel Sportsman Association. Michael was an avid bow hunter, bowler and golfer. Survivors included his wife Dorothy (Jackson) Parker, two sons; Michael Parker Jr. & John Parker, one daughter; Robbyn Parker, two brothers; Alfred (Jane) Parker Jr. & Henry (Trudy) Parker of, two sisters; Sukey (James) Yerdon & Cynthia Parker, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren & nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 3-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse. Prayers will be offered at 7 PM for anyone wishing to attend. Immediately following prayers, friends are invited to the Spinning Wheel for a reception in Michael's honor.
