Michael J. Orton, 49, of Mattydale, passed away Monday. He graduated from Cicero High School in 1982. He was a truck driver and mechanic for George MaGeean for the last 30 years. He was a former member of the CNY Street Rod Club.
Mike was a proud loving father, a wonderful uncle and friend who was always there for you. He will be greatly missed. He is predeceased by his sister, Christine Loucks.
Mike is survived by his wife, Paula; his children, Michael and Michelle; his parents, Harry and Antonia Orton; brothers, Robert and Thomas; sister, Mary Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Calling hours will be Friday, August 10th from 3-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be Saturday, 10AM August 18th at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
