Michael Grant was born June 27,1949 in Syracuse NY to the late George Grant and Naomi (Sayles) Grant.
Survivors include his sister, Jeanette Grant of Syracuse; 5 Children, Alvina Grant of Syracuse, Kimyana Robinson of West Palm Beach, FL, Robert, Marisa, and Joseph Fenell of Syracuse; 2 step-children Michie Robinson and Monique Fenell of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great- great grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Marcia R. Jackson and Maxine Cain, of Syracuse.
Michael attended the Syracuse public schools.
He worked DPW sanitation and other various jobs.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, on Tuesday, October 30th from 12pm-1pm.
Interment will remain private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may by made to The American Cancer Society.
