Michael G. Pogroski, 55, of Syracuse passed away Saturday at University Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Mike was an Iron Worker with the Local 33 for over 20 years. A motorcycle enthusiast, he was a member of the Onondaga Abate Motorcycle Club and rode in many charity rides.
He is survived by his wife; Betty (Stinson) Pogroski, a son; Richard Stinson, a grandson; Marcus Stinson, a nephew; Devin Pogroski, his brothers; Leonard (Karenann) Pogroski, Raymond (Linda) Pogroski, Eric Pogroski, a sister; Cheryl (Kenneth) Wilcox, his step-mother; Marie A. Pogroski and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Wednesday at 7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
