Michael Coyne

October 4, 1943 — December 7, 2019

Michael Joseph Coyne, of Syracuse passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 7th.

Michael was a very kind and humble man. He was not interested in material things; he liked a simple life. Michael loved his family and close friends around him. He was a complete home body.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Grace (Stolzenau) and John Coyne and his oldest brother, John "Skip" Coyne.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughter, Michelle (Kim LaClair) Coyne; sons, Daniel Coyne, Keith (Faith) Coyne and Eric Coyne; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandsons; sister, Patricia Carbery; brothers, James (Mary) Coyne and Timothy Coyne and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 13th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12pm. Entombment will follow in Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
