Michael J. Bock

Far too early in life, Michael J Bock, age 53, of North Syracuse, NY passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Crouse Hospital.

Mike resided in North Syracuse for most of his life. He was a 1983 graduate of North Syracuse High School and had attended Onondaga Community college. He was a previous employee of Bristol-Myers Squibb where he had worked for 24 very dedicated years.

Mike spent his time enjoying fishing, golfing, bowling, playing cards, spending time at his parents' camp in Cape Vincent with family and friends and making great memories with his lifelong "brothers" the Hanno's and Dave and Stevie. He will always be remembered for his caring and kind demeanor, loyal friendships and the immense love he had for his wife, Kim.

Mike was predeceased by his mother, Mary Bock in 2010. He is survived by his father, John (Louise) Bock; his loving wife Kim (Williamson) Bock; his son, Brett Bock; and his daughters Taylor and Bailey Bock who are from his first wife, Stacey, and his two stepsons, Ryan and Tyler Williamson. He is also survived by his sister, Mary (Mark) Turo; a niece, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. Services will be on Saturday, September 22nd 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.

Mike's family and friends would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the skilled attention and compassionate care given by the nurses, doctors and the rest of the team in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit of Crouse Hospital, most especially Megan.
