Michael S. Babiarz

Michael S. Babiarz, 63, of Kirkville, passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2023. He was born in Fulton, New York on January 30, 1960 to Frank and Pearl Babiarz. Michael was employed with Catholic Charities, ABLE, and Onondaga Community Living, caring for those with special needs. He was a musician and loved spending time out on Lake Ontario. Michael loved the outdoors and spent many days camping in the Adirondacks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Pearl Babiarz and brother, John Babiarz.

Michael is survived by his wife of 24 years, Barbara Babiarz; sister, Betty (Thomas) Babiarz Buttaccio; two brothers, Frank (Patti) Babiarz and Dan Babiarz; foster daughter Kelly Lenning; and dog Dalton.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 2-4PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, where sharing of memories will follow. The friends and family will gather immediately following at Brooklyn Pickle, 1600 West Genesee St., Syracuse NY, 13204. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Humane Society or CNY SPCA.
