Mevludin Selimovic

"Nino" Mevludin Selimovic, 61, of Clay, New York died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Born in Gunja, Croatia, Nino immigrated to the United States in 1998. He was employed with G.A. Braun, Inc., where he loved to work as a machinist. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed travelling. He was the patriarch of the family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Sadija Hodzic; sons, Dzenan (Barbara) Selimovic of North Syracuse, New York and Edin (Alenka) Selimovic of Liverpool, New York; brother, Mirsad Gasi of Vancouver, Canada; grandchildren, Kennan, Anita, Edvin, Axel and Arielle; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 11. 2012 from 4-7pm with services to follow at 7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York.
