Merton F. Forbes, 68, of Dewitt, passed away Saturday night at home, surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was born in Watertown, NY on April 12, 1952. Son of the late Merton and Mary (Brislan) Forbes.
Merton was a graduate of a Special needs school in Watertown, NY. He retired from Arc of Onondaga, where he enjoyed many years of service.
Merton loved nothing more than to make people laugh and smile, he loved WWE, Bruce Springsteen and tinkering with small engines.
He was a kind soul who brought out the very best in anyone that met him.
He was dearly loved my so many.
He was predeceased by his parents Merton and Mary (Brislan) Forbes, and his sister Vicki Forbes Daigle.
Merton is survived by his nieces, Alicia Clare, Shannon Daigle, Danielle Daigle, his nephew, David Daigle and several Great-nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held Friday, July 31st from 5pm-8pm at Merton's home address.
