Merlene B. Young, 91, of Syracuse died peacefully on Saturday. She was born in Batavia, NY to Merlin and Pauline Stevens. She is predeceased by her eldest daughter, Lynda Decker.
Survived by her husband, Edwin; her children, Melanie (Ron) Kelly, Judy (Don) Russell, Jack (Claudia) Hayes and Beth (Andy) Wilson; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
