Merl White

Merl D. White, 90, of Central Square, passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025, at Francis House with family by his side. Merl was born in Elbridge, NY on May 14, 1934, son of the late George and Louise White. Merl served in the US Army and retired from Landstar Ranger in Syracuse. Merl was predeceased by his wife,  Rose Marie and his son, Michael White.

Merl is survived by his four children, Philip (Ann) White, Merlene White, Frederick White (Mary Graffouliere), daughter-in-law, Louann White, Virginia (James) Stewart, his three stepsons, David Rowe, Jeffrey Rowe, Edward Rowe, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother, Donald White and sister, Juanita Reading.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5-7pm with a service at 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
