Mercelene I. Yager, 91, of Central Square, passed away on Saturday. She was self-employed as a housekeeper for many years.
Mercelene was predeceased by her husband, Frederick W. Yager, Jr. and one son, John Yager.
Mercelene is survived by her son, Frederick W. (Rebekah) Yager, III; 2 grandchildren, Noelle (Thomas) Rankin and Frederick W. (Linzi) Yager IV and three great-grandchildren, Peyton Yager, Thomas "Trae" Rankin III and Kathryn "Ryn" Rankin.
Services will be private for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the CNY SPCA.
