Melvin A. Preaster, 63, of Syracuse, passed away December 20, 2021.
Melvin was born in Syracuse, New York on November 4, 1958 to Melvin and Norma Preaster.
Melvin was self employed as a construction worker, specializing in concrete. He was a Master Concrete Mason for 40 years which he enjoyed very much. He was a very hard worker. In his free time, he enjoyed watching television.
He was preceded in death by father, Melvin Preaster, Sr. and mother, Norma Preaster.
He is survived by four brothers, Steven (Pamela) Williams, Michael Preaster, Jerome (Juanita) Preaster, David Preaster; two sisters, Lucinda Johnson, Andrea (York Oberman) Preaster; uncle, Harry Reddick; and several cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as a devoted friend, Kim Uzunoff.
Family and friends may call on December 31, 2021, from 11-12 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212 where funeral services will be held at 12PM.
