Melody Tohafjian, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday.
Melody was an Underwriter at Wausau Employers Insurance. She then worked at PHP as a receptionist and finally as a secretary at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was an avid reader who loved to cook and garden. Above all, Melody loved to spend time with her family.
She is predeceased by her parents, Barbara and Howard Milliman; and her sisters, Michele Daley and Marcia Rioux.
Melody is survived by her loving husband, David Tohafjian; her children, Lori (Tim) Green, James (Sarah) Daley and Christopher Daley; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marc Milliman, M. Kevin (Lynn) Milliman, and Mary (Bob) Parry and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will 4-8pm Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Mass will be celebrated at 9AM Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY or to American Cancer Society.
