Melanie A. Padden, 41, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday at her home. Born on August 5, 1972, she is the daughter of James and Irene Padden, Sr. She worked several years as a food service worker for Community General Hospital.
Melanie was an avid NY Giants, Yankee & SU Fan. Her other passions were watching movies and doing word search puzzles.
Surviving are her parents, 2 sisters: Cindy (Paul) Hesselbarth, Lisa (Sam) Santorelli, brother, James, Jr. (Margie), along with 6 nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will be private.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Society.
