Maxine E. Schmiegel
December 18, 1921 — October 26, 2021
MAXINE ELIZABETH SCHMIEGEL passed into the loving arms of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ the evening of October 24th 2021. She was born December 18th 1921, in Attica, New York and had been a very well cared for resident of Menorah Park in recent years. Maxine was predeceased by her husband Edgar H. Schmiegel, her son Larry Carlos Schmiegel and her granddaughter Marleen Susan Schmiegel.
Surviving Maxine's long lived legacy are her son Eugene (Jane) Schmiegel and granddaughters Melissa (Schmiegel) Doris (Husband John Doris deceased) and Jennifer (and Gayle) Schmiegel; grandsons Eugene Schmiegel, Larry Schmiegel and Robert (and Jesus) Remigio.
Maxine was a lady strong in her faith and ready to share her love for Jesus and how He had changed her life many, many years ago. If she could sit down and talk with us today, Maxine would share truths from books of the Bible, and she would encourage us to read and consider how they apply to our lives - John 3:16-18, Ephesians 2:4-10 and John 14:1-6.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 6th @ 2:30PM with the opportunity to greet family members at 2:00PM. The service will be at Grace Baptist Church, 17 Oneida River Road, Pennellville. NY. 13132. That is about 1.5 miles north of The Great Northern Mall. (Follow Morgan Rd. north, across Route 31 at Euclid Corners; cross the Oneida River, take first left turn, then church will be on your left)
In lieu of flowers, a gift to the Missions Program at Grace Baptist Church would be appropriate because missionaries were close to Maxine's heart. The graveside service will be private for family and friends.
