Maureen E. Saile Berry

Maureen E. Saile Berry, 55, of Syracuse, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on April 30, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Maureen was born in Syracuse, New York on November 13, 1966 to the late Karl and Patricia Saile. Maureen worked for many years at Upstate Medical University. Her most prized possessions were her two girls and three grandsons. Maureen loved being out on the water soaking up the sunshine. Everyone knew Maureen for her sarcasm and wit. Her infamous prank was to celebrate her birthday monthly just to keep you guessing as to which month she was born. She was truly one of a kind and to know her was to love her.

She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Saile and sister, Mary Pat Scott.

She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Dempsey and Marissa Dempsey (Andrew Goldberg); three brothers, Karl (Rosemarie) Saile, Robert Saile and David Saile; three grandsons, Christopher, Lucas and Grayson and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Dewitt. Memorial Contributions may be made to Karl W. Saile, Bear Road Elementary.
