Maude M. Haskell, 72, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at the Francis House. Born November 28, 1939 in Stockholm, NY. She was a Class of 1959 graduate of St. Lawrence Central School. Maude dedicated 35 years of service to St. Joseph's Hospital Cafeteria before retiring. She spent 10 years volunteering for Lincoln-Salem Little League. Maude loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed camping in the summer in Massachusetts. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Maude has always gone without so others wouldn't have to.
She was predeceased by her father, Francis Thomas in 1989, mother, Laura Thomas in 1999, infant daughter, Lisa Marie Hollis in 1967 and an infant son, Wayne Douglas Haskell in 1968.
Surviving are her sons, Douglas (Tina Squadrito) Haskell and William (Miranda) Haskell; brothers, Charles (Charlene), Douglas and John (Sharon) Thomas; sister, Margaret (Edward, Sr.) Ryan; grandchildren, Marissa, Kaylin and Maya; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 3-6 PM with services to follow immediately at 6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
