Matthew J. Sturick, Sr.

Matthew J. Sturick Sr., 81, of Brewerton, passed away March 13, 2025. Matthew was born in Syracuse, New York on October 1, 1943 to Matthew and Anne Sturick.

Matthew retired from the Syracuse Painters Union. In his free time, he enjoyed camping and snowmobiling in Old Forge with family and friends. He enjoyed his time of 30 plus years living on the Oneida River and hosting 4th of July parties with family and friends. Matthew was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by father, Matthew Sturick; and mother, Anne Sturick.

He is survived by his children, Dawn Marie (Tony) Grosso, Matthew Sturick, Jr., Justina Sturick, Paulette Sturick, Elizabeth (Sean) Greene; brother, Richard (Lynda) Sturick; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a niece, and a nephew.
